Biofunctional Molecular Medicine Project

Research

Our division was launched in May 2008. The major goal of our division is to clarify the molecular-mechanisms of carcinogenesis and develop the novel therapeutic strategies through characterization of cancer specific molecules whose expression are exclusively up-regulated in cancer cells. We have been attempting to identify genes involved in carcinogenesis by means of technologies developed through genome-wide DNA microarray, comprehensive SNP- and 2nd generation sequencing analyses.
