Project for Lifestyle-related Diseases Prevention
Obesity is a primary cause of the lifestyle-related diseases. This project undertakes intervention studies, where cohort groups of obese subjects are investigated on the effects of exercise and diet for controlling obesity. In addition, a follow-up study will be implemented to examine how long the effects would be sustained after the interventions, and what factors would determine the degree of sustained effects, focusing on the genetic factors.
